Sonar (Sound, Navigation and Ranging) is a technique that uses sound waves to detect and locate objects underwater. Side scan sonar is a specific type of sonar used to image the topography of the seafloor.

Our side scan sonar can efficiently create an image of large areas underwater. This tool is used for mapping underwater for a wide variety of purposes, including but not limited to geological surveys, environmental studies of the seafloor, marine biology, reef monitoring, hazardous waste site assessment, hydrographic surveys and detection and identification of underwater objects in search and recovery applications.

We also perform underwater searches and object identification by using side scan sonar. If your goal is to locate an object that's underwater or map the sea floor around a structure, we have the equipment to efficiently locate what the naked eye can’t see. Structures, pipelines and submerged vessels can be detailed in electronic format and printed out for presentation. Underwater recovery can be assisted by either divers or our ROV.

We welcome the opportunity to discuss your project requirements.
